For a long time the only known colorphotos of the castiles. Must be taken in 1966 because of the lineup. Left to right: George Theiss, Vinny Maniello, Bruce Springsteen, Paul Popkin, Curt Fluhr. In 2002 or 2003 some additional colorphotos became available from the vaults.
This never before released image was send to us by Eric Rudolph and was taken by himself at the Off Broad St. Coffehouse in Red Bank, NJ at the 22th June 1968. After our request George Theiss confirmed this picture as one of the Castiles. It shows the lates Castiles two months before the band broke down and might be the very first picture showing Bruce playing a Telecaster guitar.

The first (and only) Castiles Single: Baby I / Thats what you get. Only four of this singles are still known to exist. This one belongs to Billy Smith and was signed by Bruce: "For Billy. Here's the first!".
